Foundation Fellowship and Bernard Ramsey Honors Scholarships Part I

The Foundation Fellowship and the Bernard Ramsey Honors Scholarship are the most prestigious undergraduate scholarships at UGA. 

The Foundation Fellowship

The Fellowship provides an annual stipend of $11,372 for Georgia residents (in addition to the Zell Miller Scholarship, valued at $9,364 per year) and $18,892 for Non-residents (plus a Regents waiver, currently worth $18,210 per year). Additionally, Fellows receive individual travel-student grants ($9,000), spring group travel-study (one domestic and two international trips), research and academic conference grants ($1,750), and a post-first-year study abroad program at Oxford.


The Bernard Ramsey Honors Scholarship

The Ramsey Scholarship provides an annual stipend of $5,686 for Georgia Residents (in addition to the Zell Miller Scholarship) and $9,546 for Non-residents (plus a Regents waiver). The scholarship also includes a $3,000 travel-study grant. 

**All finalists who participate in the Interview Weekend will be named Bernard Ramsey Honors Scholars.

Application Postmark and Electronic Submission Deadline: 

November 2, 2015

After reviewing all applications, we will invite 50-60 finalists to campus for a mandatory Interview Weekend, schedule for Friday, February 26 through Saturday, February 27, 2016. Please note: due to the format of our finalist interview process, we are unable to offer alternate interview dates.

Who is eligible to apply?

Applicants must be current high schools seniors with an un-weighted high school GPA of at least a 3.8 and a minimum combined SAT score of 2100 or ACT score of 31.
