Visit UGA

The University of Georgia holds the health and safety of our guests, students and staff as the highest priority. In response to COVID-19 (coronavirus), we will be suspending our in-person Admissions programming until further notice.

Scheduling a Visit

Join the UGA Office of Undergraduate Admissions and UGA Visitors Center for our Virtual Campus Visit Experience held through Zoom. These live sessions will go over the admissions process, answer any questions you may have for our staff and give you a view into what the University of Georgia has to offer. Sessions are offered every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Schedule your virtual campus visit experience online by visiting Campus Visit Experience. Dates open for registration two months in advance.

Are you interested in a different type of visit?

  • Transfer Student Information Sessions are scheduled on Fridays at 12:00 pm. Find available dates and register online for a Transfer Student Information Session.
  • Special Group Visits (groups of 8 or larger) are accommodated on a space-available basis. Find out more about the different types of visits we offer and request a date online at Group Campus Visit Experience.

Stay on Campus at the UGA Hotel and Conference Center

Your stay. Stay at our on-campus hotel, UGA Hotel and Conference Center. Close to the Coliseum, Butts-Mehre Heritage Hall, and other landmarks, it is centrally located and close to everything! For you and your family, the Office of Admissions has negotiated special discounted rates at the UGA Hotel.

Contact Academic Departments or Student Life

Your interests. Consider viewing one of the departments on campus that captures your interest. Whether it’s an academic interest, from the Terry College of Business to the College of Public Health, or a student life interest such as the Honors Program or Multicultural Services Program, students can connect with Academic Departments or Student Life to obtain more information and/or possibly arrange a visit.
