Please be aware that this list is not comprehensive. It should only be used as a guide. This list reflects courses that have previously been reviewed by UGA for transfer credit. Courses are added as transfer students enroll at UGA and their work is evaluated.
This UGA Admissions Transfer Course Equivalent Database is provided as a service for students who want to know whether the courses they are taking, or plan to take, will transfer successfully to the University of Georgia. Public 2-year and 4-year Georgia colleges, technical schools, private Georgia colleges, and some non-Georgia colleges are currently included in the database. Only course work from a regionally accredited institution will transfer into UGA.
Once a student is accepted as a regular transfer, the Admissions Office will prepare an evaluation of credit, which will be mailed either with the acceptance packet or soon thereafter. Please note that equivalencies and requirements may change without notice. Courses at other institutions or at UGA that change in content from one year to the next will alter the accuracy of the equivalency tables.
Please note: This Transfer Course Search does not guarantee that transfer credit will be applied to degree requirements. The UGA school or college to which the applicant is seeking admission, not the Office of Undergraduate Admissions, will determine the amount of transfer credit applied to degree requirements.
All credit hours are calculated as semester credit hours.
If a UGA course equivalent contains an asterisk (*), that particular course will transfer as an elective, rather than as an exact course equivalent.
You may consult The University of Georgia Bulletin for valid UGA course numbers.
