Welcome to the University of Georgia - Diversity Web Site! We are excited to bring this new feature to you. It is our hope that this site would provide prospective students, families, and community based organizations with a better understanding of the vast resources and opportunities that foster diversity, in an out of the classroom at UGA.

Our goal as a university is to develop the academic, professional and societal engagement of our student body by creating a campus community of highly talented students with distinct cultural, social economic, linguistic, racial and ethnic, gender, sexual orientation, and religious perspectives. This collegial environment challenges students academically and socially, in an effort to better the State of GA and the nation as a whole.

Diversity at UGA is a cultural experience! It allows some of the brightest students in the country the opportunity to lead cultural organizations, to add to the already vibrant international student body, to participate in unparalleled study abroad programs, and affords undergraduates the chance to publish their research in international and nationally acclaimed academic journals.
