Quiet Time Information

Our admissions counselors will be unavailable from Friday, February 1 through mid-March as they read Summer and Fall First-Year applications. If you wish to inquire about the status of an application or its supporting documents, please visit our Online Status Check.

If a document has not been posted to your status check and it has been more than two weeks since your application was input into our system and more than three weeks since the document was sent, please contact the Office of Undergraduate Admissions at (706)542-8776.

If your inquiry requires additional investigation, an information specialist will be happy to assist you. Students may find it best to work with their high school's college guidance counselor to help expedite most issues during this time of limited access to UGA admissions counselors. Please be advised that it may take a few days for your situation to be addressed. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

In order to provide thorough review of First-Year applications during the busy file reading season, the Office of Undergraduate Admissions will not be conducting 10:30am First-Year Information Sessions on Tuesdays/Thursdays beginning February 1 and continuing throughout the month of February and into March. We will resume Tuesday/Thursday 10:30am First-Year Information Sessions on Tuesday, March 25. We will continue to hold the daily 2:00pm First-Year Information Sessions during this time as well as Transfer Information Sessions every Friday at 1:00pm.
