Why did you choose UGA?

I chose to attend UGA because I thought it was a great institution and it had a diverse group or degrees offered. Most of the programs and schools at UGA are nationally ranked and I felt that I would get a great education. I really enjoyed visiting the school and the campus is beautiful. It is a great college town. I was hesitant at first, because of the low number of Latino students, but it is a very close community and we are increasing every year. Overall I made a great choice and would never change it.

My favorite things to do on campus

Walk through Tate for "Tate Time" to chat with friends relax. There is usually always something going on. Whether it is music, educational protests, or fundraising for the community.  My Favorite place to study is the Student Learning Center. I try to get a room, if there are any available. I try to find a very quiet place so I can be effective.

What is student life like at UGA?

Student life is what you make of it. I think it is great. I enjoy being involved and busy. I go to class, work, and always have something to do. Meetings, events, mixers, community service, and lots of fun. College is a great time to spread you wings, try new things and meet new people.

My favorite Professor is ...

Professor Netter is my favorite professor thus far. He taught my Applied Corporate Finance course. He is very intelligent and I enjoy learning from him. I enjoy is spontaneity and teaching methods.

After graduation I plan on.

Great question! Well this summer I secured an internship at Goldman Sachs in New York City working in Controllers. It will be a great experience and help me make my decision between corporate finance and financial services. Once the summer is over I will hopefully receive a full time offer and work in Finance. While working I plan to work towards receiving my MBA.

What I like best about UGA is...

I like that at UGA there is always something to do. There is something for everyone and there is never a boring moment. It is encouraged for you to get involved, every student can make a difference and change.

The UGA experience I will always remember is

My first football game I attended. I was so amazed with the amount of people everywhere. Everyone was so excited and the energy was great. I was not a big football fan, but after my first UGA game I fell in love and couldn't stop going. The game was so much fun and the intensity was great.
